—Introduction and source informationAIDIVE AI Maturity Framework® - Architecture & Rhythm - Agentic AI Operating Model—AIDIVE Architecture & RhythmAIDIVE Architecture & Rhythm describes how maturity assessment, operating-model design and Practices & Playbook operate as one continuous learning system. These elements evolve in parallel: organizations assess while acting, refine the operating model while scaling and redesign workflows while evidence changes.22. Agentic AI Operating ModelThe Agentic AI Operating Model is the execution architecture through which approved enterprise intent and all six AIDIVE dimensions are enacted across five operating layers. Alignment defines strategic intent, decision rights, portfolio policy, Autonomy Appetite and feedback contracts; this document defines how those choices are operated through la2.12.1 How the Operating Model WorksThe Agentic AI Operating Model translates approved enterprise intent into coordinated execution across five organizational layers: Strategy, Portfolio, Value Stream, Agentic Networks and Teams. The layers are connected through explicit structures, accountable human roles, operating cadences, evidence flows, escalation paths and continuously improvi2.22.2 Strategy LayerThe Strategy Layer converts enterprise strategy into an approved operating envelope for AI. It provides direction and constraints to the Portfolio Layer while retaining human accountability for enterprise-level choices. It does not manage daily delivery or create a parallel AI strategy.2.32.3 Portfolio LayerThe Portfolio Layer converts approved direction into a visible, risk-aware flow of AI initiatives and shared enablement investments. It coordinates mobilization, capability reuse, portfolio evidence and funding/capacity choices without recreating the prioritization and approval policy owned by Alignment.2.42.4 Value Stream LayerThe Value Stream Layer designs how customer or business value moves end to end across teams, agents, systems, decisions and human handoffs. It translates portfolio mandates into coherent flow design and coordinates assurance across multiple Agentic Networks.2.52.5 Agentic Networks LayerThe Agentic Networks Layer synchronises multiple teams, agents and shared capabilities so they operate as one delivery engine around a common value stream. It is a coordination shell rather than a managerial hierarchy, and it keeps integration, assurance, experience, policy and runtime evidence coherent across teams.2.62.6 Teams LayerThe Teams Layer is the build-and-run unit where agentic workflows, integrations, controls and experience are implemented and operated. A team maintains one integrated product and operating backlog and makes delivery, reliability, safety, quality, cost, intervention and relevant outcome evidence visible.2.72.7 End-to-End Agentic Execution ArchitectureThe five organizational layers define where work and accountability sit. This section defines how value, work, decisions, agents, humans, systems and evidence move across those layers as one executable architecture.—Source headers, footers and notes—Version historyChanges to this document, separate from the overall framework release history.
